Cyberoam Extends Benefits of UTM Offering with Key Security Functionality

 

 

Cyberoam, a provider of identity-based Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions, has added feature enhancements to its UTM solution including HTTP proxy detection, Point-to-Point-Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) VPN support, and new Spam-defense technology that extend the functionality of the Company’s UTM offering and deliver cost savings to meet the unified threat management needs of corporate enterprises, government organisations and educational institutions, the company is said to have quoted.

According to the company, feature enhancements include:

  • HTTP Proxy Detection
  • PPTP VPN Support
  • PPPoE Client Functionality

With image Spam accounting for almost 35 per cent of the total Spam mail being circulated in the world and 70 per cent of bandwidth taken by Spam on a global level, Cyberoam provides the most advanced, real-time Spam detection for instant protection of users from new outbreaks far ahead of signatures or software updates, the company said.
