Microsoft has rolled out patches for 20 flaws. All the flaws in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Microsoft's Malware Protection Engine were updated.
Six of the patches are for flaws that are said to be 'critical'. The 'critical' tag is used when a cyber criminal takes control over a PC via a web page or by tricking a user into opening an attachment on an e-mail.
The patches did not affect Vista, Microsoft representatives said.
