Windows Mobile Vulnerability Might Crash Phones |

Trend Micro, a security firm, has come across vulnerabilities in Windows Mobile. The flaws are present in applications like 'Pictures and Videos'.These flaws make the mibile device hang for sometime. The flaw can also cause a Denial of Service (DoS) attack against a device.
The flaw is also present in the Windows Mobile's Internet Explorer Mobile, which when exploited terminates IE and causes the affected mobile device to be unstable.
The flaws affect Pocket PCs and Smartphones running Windows Mobile 5.0 and Windows Mobile 2003/2003SE.
"Microsoft's initial investigation shows that this is not a new vulnerability but a duplicate of an already known public issue," a Microsoft representative said.
