Chinese Communist Leader Wants to 'Purify' Internet |

Hu Jintao the Chinese Communist Party chief has decided to roll out plans to 'purify' the Internet. The party had to "strengthen administration and development of our country's Internet culture", Hu said.
"Maintain the initiative in opinion on the Internet and raise the level of guidance online," he said. "We must promote civilised running and use of the Internet and purify the Internet environment", he continued.
China’s Internet users is escalating with 26 million users in 2006, as per the China Internet Network Information Center.
Hu also added, "Ensure that one hand grasps development while one hand grasps administration".
