Secure Computing Launches WEBWASHER 6.0

Secure Computing, an enterprise gateway security company, has taken the wraps off Webwasher 6.0, a new version of its Web Security Gateway that aims to protect enterprises from inbound and outbound security threats. Webwasher 6.0 marks the initial integration of CipherTrust’s TrustedSource into the Secure Computing suite of products, within 75 days of completing the merger with CipherTrust, as per a statement issued by the company.

The company boasts saying that Webwasher provides the full range of content protection features in a solution with web filtering, anti-virus, anti-malware, and SSL scanning providing inbound and outbound content control.

According to the company, in addition to the URL filter and anti-malware features, Version 6.0 also includes the following:

• Webwasher SSL Scanner
• Webwasher Anti-Virus
• Webwasher Instant Message Filter
