Watchfire Sets Up APAC Headquarters in Singapore

Watchfire has inaugurated its Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore. The company has also appointed Anthony Lim as Managing Director, Asia Pacific, to manage and expand the direct sales and channel opportunities for Watchfire's web application security solution, AppScan in the Asia-Pacific region, as per the release issued by the company.

In addition, Watchfire has also appointed Quantiq, as distributor and principal channel partner for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Anthony Lim, with more than 20 years of professional experience pioneering and building Asia Pacific businesses for IT vendors, will manage and grow Watchfire's revenue, operations, marketing and distribution network in the region. Previous to joining Watchfire Anthony was Check Point Software's inaugural AP Regional Director. Anthony has also held senior positions at Digi International and CA. Lim has chaired the SITF Security Chapter for the past two terms and also sits on several working committees for IT security, governance and best practices for the government of Singapore, the company said.
