Sonic Wall Rolls Out 3G Wireless Network Security Appliance |

SonicWALL has introduced the SonicWALL TZ 190, a network security appliance that is said to allow users to instantly create a secure 3G wireless broadband network without the need for a fixed Internet connection. The TZ 190 series satisfies business requirements for instantly deployed primary and fail over broadband networking by providing the 3G platform that integrates a deep packet inspection firewall, high speed 3G Internet WAN connectivity and centralised remote management capabilities, as per the statement issued by the company.
According to the company, the TZ 190 is a multi-layered security platform that integrates Type II PC card support for EV-DO, HSDPA, 1xRTT, EDGE, UMTS and GPRS wireless broadband networks. Built on SonicWALL's SonicOS Enhanced operating system, the TZ 190 is said to deliver business continuity and networking features including automated failover/failback technologies, policy-based NAT, bandwidth management and DDNS. Priced at USD 995.00, the SonicWALL TZ 190 will ship at the end of November 2006.
