Citrix to Provide Secure Access to Shanghai Olympics' GMS |

Citrix Systems has plans to support the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games to be held on 2nd to11th October 2007 in Shanghai, China. Citrix will provide secure access solutions for applications including the Game Management System (GMS) to ensure that the officials are able to access real-time information at the games.
The GMS holds information on the athletes’ data and results produced by over 7,000 special athletes, representing more than 170 countries, who are expected to compete. Citrix will also be providing access solution at the 2006 Special Olympics Invitational Game, a precursor to the 2007 event, which is being held on 12th – 20th October 2006 in Shanghai.
Citrix access infrastructure solutions for the Game Management System (GMS) include 260 concurrent user licenses of Presentation Server 4, Enterprise Edition, which enable daily-centralised updates of the GMS application while allowing the game officials to access information on demand. |
