CA Seeks Beta Testers for SMB Protection Suites

CA is seeking beta testers for the Protection Suites lineup for Small to Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). The protection suites offer a single installation process that is intended to ease the deployment process across the organisation.

CA is in the hunt looking for beta testers for the Protection Suites line-up for Small to Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). The products include antivirus, anti-spyware, backup and migration technology, with the new release adding desktop anti-spam and firewall options. The protection suites offer a single installation process that is intended to ease the deployment process across the organisation. Additionally, the security, storage and migration features are fully integrated on both the client and server components. The solutions also sport a Web-based, central management console that manages data protection, users, policies and reports from a single console.

CA’s Protection Suites is targeted primarily at IT consultants for SMBs and starts with 5 user licenses. Release 3 runs on Windows 2000, XP and Windows Server 2003, and includes a Web based component for centrally managing the software.
