Trend Micro Adds to Internet Gateway Security Portfolio

Trend Micro has announced the availability of InterScan Gateway Security Appliance in Singapore, the latest addition to its portfolio of gateway security solutions.

“Trend Micro maintains a customer focused business environment combined with ongoing threat research, in order to provide comprehensive, reliable security for our customers’ digital information and assets,” said Steve Quane, General Manager of Small and Medium Business Solutions at Trend Micro. “By developing different types of solutions and services for different sized organisations, Trend Micro solutions continue to protect as customers’ businesses grow.”

The option of a security appliance at the gateway can yield significant savings for SMB customers from a management perspective, observed Chris Christiansen, vice president, Security Products and Services for IDC. "Having a single cohesive security architecture, such as that offered by Trend Micro, to handle multiple types of threats, provides simplified means to enable security policies with fewer resources."
