Panda Software Launches Antivirus 2007 for Home Users

Panda Software has launched Panda Antivirus 2007 for home users, whose Interent use do not require all the features offered by a complete security suite. The new software promises complete protection against known and unknown Internet threats with a minimal use of systems resources. System requirements for installing Panda Antivirus 2007 are 64MB RAM and a 150MHz Pentium processor.

International surveys show that many users have two or more computers at home. With this in mind, Panda Software has launched a solution which can be installed on 2 PCs at no extra cost. This product includes complete protection and associated services (updates, 24h/365d tech support) for one year, at a price of USD 29.95 for two licenses. This makes it the best quality/price solution on the market at USD14.97 per license.

Panda Antivirus 2007 combines antivirus, anti-spyware and anti-phishing technologies with the Genetic Heuristic Engine, a new generation heuristic scanner that detects and blocks unknown threats more effectively than traditional heuristics and with an extremely low rate of false positives.
