Symantec Hires IBM Veteran to Lead Taiwan Business |

Symantec Corp. has appointed Timothy Ding as managing director of Symantec Taiwan, where he will be responsible for the company’s operations. He joins Symantec from IBM where he was Executive of Retail Industry Solution.
Ding started his career with IBM in 1985 and during his tenure held a number of different roles in Sales, Channel and Marketing. From 2002 - 2004, Ding led the Software Group for IBM Taiwan managing an organization of over 100 employees.
Ding will report to Bernard Kwok, vice president, Symantec and president, Symantec Greater China Region.
"We are delighted that Timothy Ding is joining Symantec as our new managing director for Taiwan and are confident that he will be a strong and innovative leader with his extensive industry experience in the enterprise sector," said Bernard Kwok.
