Google has said it will begin showing YouTube videos on many other sites hoping to cash in on the ads attached to the clips

Google, the world’s top search engine, is in the process of making money from the USD 1.76 billion purchase of YouTube last year.

Google is already showing some video ads on clips on YouTube's own site.

It is learned that the ads wont be in video format, instead they will be appearing as a graphic occupying certain space the video or as a link at the bottom.

By this project, Google wants to extend its AdSense project to other sites.

Google will also use only those videos where the video providers sign a consent form.

Google’s thinking lies in the fact that if this arrangement works and gets Google enough revenues, then it could start distributing other types of content, including news stories and audio files, across its vast network of advertising partners.
